Hoping for some Southern Tailgate Hospitality

Hey y'all,
Me and a couple buddies are headed down to Baton Rouge for Saturday's game. We're Texans who've always wanted to experience Death Valley on a Saturday Night and we're so pumped for our first time. I'm hoping to find some folks kindly willing to host some first timers at a tailgate as the tailgating at LSU is on a whole other level. We'd be so deeply grateful to anyone willing and we'd gladly bring whatever we could to contribute to the cause. Appreciate any response!

Nobody will turn you down, just walk around and be friendly. People love showing hospitality at LSU

Got tix, and it'll be "Geaux Tigers" all day. Full disclosure, I'm a University of Texas grad but equally a CFB junkie. Always rooted for the Tigers whenever they're not playing the Horns (it's been 13 years so we're good there), and I have a deep burning hatred of Alabama ('09 title game), so I'll definitely be amongst friends in purple and gold.

Our tailgate is set up in the Old front 9 lot. Look for the Krewe of commotion flag, we should have plenty of food come on by.

Wear a Texas shirt with an LSU hat or vice-versa. That way, people will heckle the shite out of you and then offer you a drink. If you're decked out in LSU gear, no one will give you the time of day.

My brother and I are looking for a tailgate to hang at too. We plan on walking around for a bit with a backpack that has a Canadian flag on it but hope to have one to go to earlier.

Wear a Texas hat, play along with the ragging, drink poeples booze, eat their food, yell loud at the game, and enjoy the best atmosphere you'll ever be a part of.

Being facetious but wearing a sign saying "Frick A&M" would get you a lot of food & drinks. Get out there early and 9 a.m. while not late, is not early.
