He will and there are so many teams where he is a better fit and the Saints are not one of them. He doesn't fit and we need defenders and a guard. If this exact player went to Alabama not a single person on this board would be asking for him cause it does make sense at all. We would have to give picks away to trade up to get him too.

It's ridiculous to say that Fournette doesn't fit this team.

I don't have to talk myself into thinking that Fournette doesn't fit in order to arrive at the same conclusion that our pick would be better used for a defender or OL.

Not true. Any player being compared to Adrian Peterson makes sense. You seem to be an all or nothing thinker.

...probably. And, I think that's another reasonable argument for why we shouldn't draft him. But, again, a reasonable person could easily conclude that Fournette on this team would make it much, much better.
The Alabama angle is very, very overplayed. 90% of the fans were downright excited to have Ingram. It has been his play that has soured the fanbase on him.
