i travel for a living.
i eat bad plenty, but i do subway, panera, chipotle, and gengis grill. for the most part i have complete control of what they put in my food that way.
i drink insanely when i travel. i do gin and tonics in the hotel lobby watching sports almost every night
but...
i usually hit the gym 2x a day on extended trip for that reason. membership to anytime fitness has been great as they're in most decent sized cities and i try to book my hotels close to them. hotel gyms tend to suck.

3) watch the booze. The booze is what kills you calorie wise, I have always had a hard time not taking a work drink. Stay away from social dinners

4) work out. one of the things taht you will find wehn you travel for work, is you have a surprisingly amount of free time at night. Its usually easy to find something social, but don't do that - instead go back to the hotel and work out, then run to whole foods (if available) for dinner.
