Cliff bars for the plane to help stave off hunger during connections. Really filling and will help avoid the 5 Guy's airport meal. If you have to eat in the airport stick to salads.
if you're traveling for work then dinners will be your toughest meal so make every other meal count healthy eating wise. To help with healthy eating at dinner time (with client's etc.) eat something in the hotel ahead of time to curb your appetite. Again i go for cliff bars or fruit - that way you aren't hungry when you get to the restaurant and can eat an appetizer/salad for you dinner.
