the Texas part will be done in a few months. we're still studying our part.

This. I69 pre-existing route was like a gravel road to start with, it may never get finished. Leesville to Alec and Natchez to Laurel are basically already an interstate less ramps and IS type shoulders. Don't need any major overpasses or ramps being there is not jack shat between the the 4 points.... just add the signs. Biggest problem will be Alec to Ferriday (Dewey Wills Mgt Area could be a big hurdle), and Leesville to Jasper. Bridge has been out over the Sabine River since Spring anyway, Just close the highway and start building.

erroneous. we have a project on my small town along i35 that is 6 years running, 2 years overdue an $10MM over budget*.

on the proposed road for Texas' side, they need to end it in San Angelo as it's a pretty decent sized town and has an intelligence AF base there. why the hell would you end it in Iraan, a town of >2k?



ETA: *on further thinking, the company contracted to do this construction is out of Louisiana.
