If kiffin wants to be a HC one day, if that's the case, who does he learn more from about running a GOAT type program? Ed Orgeron or Saban? I don't deny his quality of life may be better here, but he doesn't seem like a guy who wants to be OC for another 3 years. Why leave now to go do the same job under someone with less exp as HC than your current coach? If we go by the laws of friendship means more than any of the other things i mentioned then Dave Aranda will automatically leave LSU and go be DC for Tom Herman. Is it possible? Sure. Is it a concern? Sure. Is it very likely? No
That's one way to look at it, but living under Saban's shadow, albeit a very short one, he may never get fully recognized as a great OC. It's always "Yeah but Saban . . ." Join your buddy O and show you don't need little Napoleon to be great. If I was O I would plant the seed and ask my friend if he had the cajones to stick it too his jerk boss. Then I would pitch it to Alleva. Joe would probably offer O the HC job on the spot.
Not sure if that's tampering, but what the heck.

Kiffin's already being rumored for a couple of HC jobs. The stink that the USC experience covered him in has worn off.

Complete and utter bullshite.
The last two coordinators that left saban are now the HCs at Florida and Georgia. Two PREMIER schools.
I'd say they got plenty of credit for bamas success.
You guys are delusional.
