What? At OSU miles inherited a team that was 3-8 and 1-7 in the big 12.

. I recall Miles inheriting an offense at OSU with some highly productive players--QB, WRs, RB

Miles inherited a qb with 1500 yards passing 6tds -11 ints.
He inherited a 1000 yard rusher but his best returning wr had 350 yards receiving.

I didn't write they put up extraordinary numbers in 2000, I wrote they were highly productive players as freshmen, and all 3 were freshman in 2000. Rashaun Woods, 4,414 career receiving yards, became 1st round draft pick. Tatum Bell,3,667 career rushing yards, became second round draft pick. Pogi had a much better year in 2001 as a sophomore until injured late in the year and Josh Fields took over. Now who was the reason Fields signed at OSU, Miles or Gundy? It might be reasonable to infer that Miles was very fortunate Gundy agreed to become OC when he came in 2nd for the HC job.
