After listening to the Adam Carolla show for years and listening to Adam demean and ridicule his callers (which is usually very funny), it is refreshing to hear hosts be courteous to their callers. I find myself waiting for the host to jump on the caller. Colin Cowherd seemed to do this for every caller back at ESPN. I don't listen to that shithead anymore so not sure if it is still the same.

I firmly believe his whole screening process was to only take callers who disagreed with him...Cowherd thought conflict was key (but I'm sure it was an ESPN promoted format - with their adoption of First Take and Around the Horn - everything is conflict) - Cowherd didn't used to be like that before ESPN.

Just taking callers who hated him so he could pound them into the ground.

Compared to Rome who seemed to only want callers who loved him...and agreed with everything. "Jim you're the best!" Pat on the back fan club show who gave their own takes to impress their Emperor.

Dick Bellevia is the worst at this. Sometimes he just won't even answer. He's such a dick.
