Nah

We need to clear out these guys from a bygone era

They dont seem to have a grasp on the game with the forward pass

How long have you been watching college football? Three weeks?

Keith Jackson was the best in his era and he's head & shoulders above anyone announcing college football today.

Is there a more obvious "voice of a sport" than Jackson for CFB, Scully for MLB and Marv for the NBA?

Would still be better than Verne.

I will not miss Verne when he retires. Sorry.

Verne will be best known for his call of the Kerrigan-Harding drama.

Keith Jackson was awesome. I honestly thought he was dead. Great news he is still alive.

He was great but his final years slobbering over USC weren't. Better than Verne though.
