Oh wow... this'll be easy.

Off the top of my head probably the "What does my tattoo say?" scene in Dude, Where's My Car?

Opening scene of Goodfellas

Baptism scene in The Godfather

Opening scene of Saving Private Ryan

Battle of Helm's Deep, Two Towers

There are many more, but those came to mind for emotional impact.

These were 2 of the first to pop into my head. Well done.

If I'm actually sitting in a cinema and have no idea what's coming?

The docking scene from Interstellar.

There are so many to choose from. I'll submit one that others probably won't. I'll say the last probably 10 minutes of The Kingdom is pretty incredible. Movie is slow and that last scene grabs you by the cajones and doesn't let go.

Daniel Day Lewis scenes should be plentiful. Incredible actor.

One of my favorites considering I saw it in IMAX, but not sure I could say it's one of the greatest

The first 30 minutes of Saving Private Ryan is the best film making ever done, but I don't consider that a scene. A scene is different.

I'd go

Vader and Luke after the hand amputation.

Wyatt Earp train station scene in Tombstone.

Do I look like a clown scene in Goodfellas.

Final shootout in Unforgiven.

Andy coming out of the tunnel in Shawshank.

Those are off the top of my head.

The final diner scene in Pulp Fiction is pretty awesome, and another Tarantino one would be the opening Christoph Waltz scene in Inglorious Basterds
