As good a buddy comedy as there has ever been. Grodin is an underrated actor, and this is probably his best role. The scenes with just him and Deniro - which is roughly 40 to 50 percent of the film, and more if you want to focus on the substance of the film, are pure cinematic gold.
ETA: Dennis Farina, Yaphet Koto and Joey Pants were fantastic in support of this film as well.

Can I ask you something? These glasses are nice...Are they government issue or did you guys all go to the store together?
One of the best lines in that movie.
My favorite though is this exchange:
