So the secret is out after all these years we late nighters would be on here, " poor nurse she is working in the baby dungeon tonight!". All that time you had the baby whisperer with you

You realize I don't work in the NICU?
I'm sent there on occasion.....and usually NOT with that other nurse I mentioned. That nurse actually loves working in the NICU and prefers taking care of babies over bigger kids. Another reason I call her the baby whisperer.
ETA: We get fussy babies on the regular peds floor all the time. Many times they don't have parents with them...so only us nurses to calm them down when they wake up crying/hungry/wet/poopy.
