Looking at 8-3 going from Gonzales to North Baton Rouge and an extra 9k a year. Did the gas figures for what I pay now and I will go up 800 more a year.

Not familiar with that commute but if it's stop and go the whole way I would need at least 50K, I assumed you were talking straight interstate. I would shoot myself in the head after the first week of that.

I'd pass. Depends on what your ultimate upside where you're at is.
Now, if they pay mileage or car expenses, I might consider it.

I would basically count those extra hours as "work hours", so I would need at least what my hourly would breakdown X the number of days a year of be traveling.
9k wouldn't cut it IMO.
