As has been stated on here time and time again. LSU is looking for that big back that can pound it

Travis gets much press for his speed that helps him on the outside. However, he goes up the middle on a regular basis during the game, and he drives the pile, often 5 to 7 yards. Travis doesn't get enough credit for being a pile driver. I've seen him play several times over the last two years.

Now, at 5'11" weighing in at 199 may not seem overly large, but right now Eddie Lacy, another Louisiana product, is 5'11" and weighing in at 234, and he has been a pile driver for the Packers until his recent injury.

Just saying, don't count out Etienne based just on his speed.

I'm going to disagree with you here. He is considered a "pile driver" because he's the biggest guy on the field for most of his games. I don't see him moving piles in the SEC.

He's a great running back, but I just don't see him being a power guy that's going to pound you at the next level.
