Oh yeah right. Would you be basing that on Lee's stellar performances v bama before?
All of you that cling to the fantasy of Lee coming off the bench and saving the day should join the flat earth society.

Uhhhh, wrong. Miles quit. Can't be said enough. He had one plan, just one and if it didn't work he happily went down with the ship.

Miles is a stinking quitter and his failure to change/adapt to today's style of football shows just how much he dared LSU to fire him. Miles quit 1/9 and he quit on this year's team. What a high character guy.

Completely agree with you. We pump Lee up as a myth.

But some change would have been better than nothing. It was like we didn't even try.

The play call that kept me awake for TEN YEARS was the out of nowhere, stupidest fricking decision, absolute shite for brains decision to HIRE LES MILES IN THE FIRST PLACE>

HOW THE FRICK DO YOU HIRE A COACH WITH A 28-24 RECORD.

Thank the lord he is gone, amen, amen, amen.

Yep. Bama fans were leaving the stadium when we were driving with the lead. It was gut wrenching.

We saw what this years team could do with having only 4 days practice under a new coach. There is no telling what LSU could have done with a better passing QB in JL and a proficient coach

Whoa. With that logic, if Bama beats us 22-0 or beats us more than 21 points, your logic fails.

Because Lee never came in off the bench to win a game that Jefferson would have lost for LSU.

Les Miles was the only coach in America who would have played Jefferson over Lee. 21-0 is what Miles will be forever known for and he should.

Was less the personnel and more the play calling.

What bullshite penalty are you talking about? I think you might be combing 2012 and 2014.

In 2012 Mettenberger was unstoppable in the 2nd half. With a 17-14 lead, LSU had a 3rd and 10 at the Bama 30ish yard line with ~2:00 to go. Bama had just used their final TO, so if LSU converts the 3rd down the game is over. Instead, Les ran Hill to set up a FG that was missed. Bama came down and scored on the screen to win. I hated the call the moment it happened because Les had a chance to end the game right then and there with a hot QB. Instead, he played it safe and lost. I don't recall a BS penalty though.

The BS penalty was in 2014 after LSU (tied 10-10) had recovered the Yeldon fumble deep in Bama territory. That pushed LSU back from a 2nd and goal at the 5 to a 2nd and goal at the 20. LSU settled for the go ahead FG, which was probably the right call at that point with Bama having all three TO's to start that drive and there being about 1:20 on the clock

Hurt more than the title gsme. Some may laugh at that and it's kindof dumb in comparison but it's just that I wanted that win so fkin bad. As frustrating as the natty loss was I felt like we got screwed and didn't expect to beat that team twice. They wouldn't have beaten us twice either. Too difficult when the teams are evenly matched. Plus we had a historic Reg season and won the SEC.

It was so heartbreaking. Seeing mccaron after that game on sidelines said it all. To this day I believe if honey badger is on the field he blows that play up in the backfield and we win. One of the best games I've ever seen. SVP said it best afterwards.

Good question. I always wondered how the frick the guy before Miles got hired. Saban had a 34-24-1 record and was 0-3 in bowl games. His best season he was 9-2, his next best was 7-5. His other 3 years at Michigan State, his records were 6-5-1, 6-6 and 6-6.

That's frickING pathetic! Looks like LSU had an out of nowhere, stupid fricking absolute shite for brains decision to hire nick saban as well.

November 3rd, 2012 was the last night of The Golden Age of LSU football.

It ended on the screen pass to Yeldon.
