It's a fricking thread about Mike's memorial yet your loser arse felt the need to be edgy. GTFO douche.

Wait. How did we get here?

Saw comments on facebook by a few black people concerning Mike, automatically lumped all black people in with BLM. Presto! Typical response from a Klan member.

Do you even grasp the irony?

If being against the terrorist movement based on a lie makes one a "Klan Member" then you're gonna need a whole lot of hoods.

But yeah, these are the same sorts of people that were all about holding vigils for a thug.

Same people that lost their damn minds over Cedric the World-reknowned lion.

Gary Chambers 16 hrs · So, we found out Mike the Tiger was black... the MELANIN in his skin came out after the cancer treatment... How many in the white community know melanin is what makes our skin black and beautiful?! I just had to put that out there... some folks will now skip the memorial after they research melanin! #MikeVI

Of course I did. It was precisely why I said it. By the way, just how do you know for a fact that those people making those comments supported or were part of BLM? Because they are black right? So have fun at your next Klan meeting.

Because I've seen posts during the whole debacle. Which is fine, people can have their opinions. Yet when something like this comes up and their reaction is such, it shows their character.

You obviously haven't seen my posts excoriating and denigrating the toothless Klan.

Nice try.

Well at least Mike was attending an University, not a Community College, and was an integral part of society.

I think we both agree on grieving the loss of Mike. Can we just leave all the other stuff, right or wrong on the political board. There was no need for the BLM on Klan comments in this thread. I wish I hadn't even responded.

I was simply shocked that people would have such a negative reaction to a memorial for a Baton Rouge icon that has brought joy to many and harmed nary a one.

That was it. I didn't even post the BLM comment

How are you so sure they hold vigils for thugs. I don't understand the correlation.

I respect Mike but come on. A memorial service for an animal? It is too much.

You're obviously not going so why bother commenting? Do you need more facebook friends? Perhaps your snapchat follows are too low? There's a ton of people that have gone out there routinely to see him. Some so much that he recognizes them. I don't get why this is so hard for people to understand.

Because you're arguing with the mental equivalent of a fence post. These idiots are unreal!

I'm glad I don't know you IRL. It's incredible that you don't get it. Yes, he was an animal. He was a beautiful majestic animal representing a university that I love. He had a distinct unique personality. He provided entertainment and joy to others. Have you seen the pictures of the kids with cancer when they visited him? The little kids with their parents? The guy known as the Tiger Whisperer who was about to take his own life, but changed his mind after visiting Mike the Tiger and developing a rapport with him? He was a symbol of a lot of good things. He was much more than just an animal. You're a heartless arse and, yes, I'm judging you.

Hey smartass, I am working out of state and have spent more money on LSU Athletics and Alumni causes than you can imagine. Snapchat? I am a grown man and I don't Snapchat, Facebook or Twitter like you little girls do.

Regarding Mike and a vigil or memorial service, I wouldn't go if I was in town. He was an animal and I understand that some of you young people are so brainwashed that you can't see the forest for the trees anymore but you are a nitwit no matter how many of your dumbass ilk go to a memorial service for an amimal.

It is truly laughable that some of you seem to equate being an LSU fan with holding a candle to remember an animal.

The silliest thing is that your mentality is far closer to that of the PETA types than you realize. Dumbass.

So... I am also a grown man and will be out there with my kids. It offers some closure for my kids, it is a teaching moment for my kids.

Well exactly what are you trying to teach them?

Are you praying for him? If so to what end?
