It's trying to get better with the Arts and actually having some sort of identity. The Strand has decent shows. The Municipal Auditorium just had a major renovation and is hosting some pretty decent acts. The Mudbugs hockey team just started back up at the Hirsch Coliseum. (The mudbugs owners sunk millions into renovating the building. But it's still in the hood.) We actually have 3 micro breweries. Bossier has started the multi-million dollar project to completely overhaul the old downtown area into a outdoor events/shopping area. The Robinson Film Center has Indie and low release films.

We're still no where near on par with things to do and see like NO, BR or DFW. But it's not quite as boring as it used to be. It's still boring though, just not as bad.
