The Strand is a really cool venue and I wish they could get more acts there.
Tipitinas Foundation has a presence in Shreveport and has helped get some better acts to start coming through. I saw Tedeschi Trucks at the Strand last year. Great show.

Heard about the Tipitina's Foundation bringing some shows there and think Dr. John was one.
I know they have a Co-op down there and there may even be plans for a smaller venue from what I've heard from friends in Shrevey-Boss.
