He sprained an ankle in summer PRACTICE

No, we haven't run him into the ground. Ankle injuries linger, and LF7 wants to play as much as possible. Only thing that is going to help him is time.

We ran him into 9 man fronts consistently because Les would not play a quarterback who could complete a 10 yard pass.

true with any back. The point is LSU is deep at rb...giving Guice & Williams more carries in the first half allows for a fresher LF in the 2nd half. I will take a fresher LF against a tired defense any time.

What good is it to have Guice and Williams if we aren't going to give them some carries?
