What is the reasoning for picking a kicker in the 2nd?

Sorry I'm late to the party. Didn't know how high he was picked until tonight.

Even if he was the best kicker ever though would it really be worth a second round pick?

The Bucs are proving having a good kicker is valuable and it's showing tonight. So technically they were right this entire time

It's only worth it to draft a kicker high if he's fat like my boy Seabass

And yeah if you could guarantee me an Adam Vinatieri, I might spend a 1st rounder

A kicker like Dan Bailey or Justin Tucker is definitely worth a second round pick. The only problem is Aguayo sucks.

Cant forget they traded up to do it too. Did they actually think someone was gonna pick him before they did?

There is absolutely no upside. Even a great kicker will never live up to the hype. No matter how good he is, the GM will never be lauded for the pick when guys like Justin Tucker and Dan Bailey are UDFAs.
