When the projector arrives, Ward opens it and realizes that it was a cheap toy and the prize was a scam. Instead of doing what every other dad would do (use the opportunity to teach a lesson on not being a sucker), Ward goes out and buys a real projector so that the boys will never know that they busted their asses for nothing. Wally eventually realizes what happened, but tells Beaver that they should just appreciate dad instead of ruining his moment.
