Probably so...when it comes to drinking, every European I've ever talked to considers American beer to be water lol.

LSU has a tradition of Saturday night games at home, so almost every game in Tiger Stadium is a 6 or 7pm kickoff. Only time its usually earlier in the day is when CBS picks the LSU game for their 2:30 game because CBS has first pick of TV rights for SEC games in their 2:30 time slot. Unless the Florida game gets rescheduled for Nov 19, expect any game vs South Alabama to be an evening kickoff. But I'd still recommend getting out there early...9-10 in the morning to have a full day of tailgate experience and have enough time to get a good buzz because once you're inside the stadium, they don't sell beer.

Like someone else mentioned, strike up a conversation with some tailgaters and mention that you're an LSU fan from Ireland attending your first game and you'll likely be welcomed into that tailgate party as an honored guest with all the food and beer you want.
