Is that all wma or there is a lease in there?

I have been thinking about starting to fish there instead of going further South.
Any tips? If the Pearl River is high does it hurt fishing?

Leased? I may be thinking of the wrong area, is it south in the marsh or further north?

This time of year specs and reds usually travel up the river and you can catch them along with nice bass all on the same bait. Up towards the bridge. Yesterday we tried but the water was still too fresh.I'm sure that will change in the near future.

Yup, I start catching them around Sept or Oct.
Man I love plastic but I throw out the top water.
I catch a few less fish which I trade for the excitement of a topwater bite.
I even caught a small tarpon near the Hwy 90
Bridge last year in Oct.
Bass this time of year if the water is down can be fun. They have a few 4lbers. Most of the fish are a 1/2 pound maybe a pound at the most.
Reds nice size I caught some bulls on a rebel popper or h&h with the spinner.
Speckled trout I caught a few big ones around 4 to 5 lbs once in a blue moon. Realistically the majority of the trout are 12" to 18".
What I love is you can work a few feet of bank catch a redfish, next cast a speckled trout, and the next one bass. Sometimes even a baby tarpon which was fun!
