Everyone on here always complains about the AD and president. That's basically what he did. To the outside world, if the AD and the president are bad, the head coaching job is not the best destination. I'm not saying I agree with him, but that's where he's coming from.

The AD and administration may be bad at hiring and firing, but what does the football program look like with regards to facilities, revenue, compensation and the like? Have they maintained LSU as a Top 5 football program with respect to those things?

That should be a prospective coach's concern. Am I allowed to do my job to the best of my abilities?

This other stuff is media fodder. And I'm not saying the AD couldn't do better.

Part of Brando's argument on Finebaum the other day was that USC was a better job for Herman. Their Athletic Department is a huge dumpster fire right now. They fired their former football player AD and hired another former football player as AD, with no experience. And by the way their football coach is in his FIRST year of his contract. What part of firing a coach in his first year spells stability for the athletic department?

Brando has a love hate relationship with LSU. But more importantly he loves the sound of his own voice.

He may not necessarily be wrong about Lsu AD problems but when he thinks USC's situation is better he loses all credibility.
