Probably. And I think the Rockets went 8-2 against the Bulls in the 3 seasons before Jordan retired the first time.

The Rockets were one of the teams the Bulls really struggled with for some reason.

I think that reinforces the nay-sayers' point: No Jordan.

It's a valid argument, but Hakeem was at the peak of his game by then. It would have been interesting to see which team could play to their strengths better. Easy to say it would have been the Bulls, but 4 or 5 in a row (continuing of the first 3-peat) is a tough thing to see.
