They're easily in if they go undefeated

This UConn game is the second game of a 7-game stretch they have, which consists of:

Texas State (3-9)
UConn (6-7)
Navy (11-2)
Tulsa (6-7)
SMU (2-10)
UCF (0-12)
Tulane (3-9)

Their records last season in parenthesis. That's a combined record of 31-56.

Sure, they can beat teams like Florida State and Oklahoma when they have a month plus to prepare, but how would they do against the current stretch Wisconsin is playing? Or Stanford's schedule? Or Alabama's schedule?

Could they navigate that schedule with 1 loss or less? We don't know, because they won't have to. And the committee won't give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they can.

A committee full of ADs, presidents, and former players from major schools/conferences won't exactly help them out, either.

They have no shot.

They would have to blow out Louisville and Louisville would have to be undefeated

You also said 2014 Ohio State wouldn't get in with that terrible VA Tech and underwhelming schedule. We all knew how that ended.

Houston will be in the final 4 if they win out, whether you want to admit it or not. Especially if Louisville ends up winning the ACC.

You are mixing whether they deserve to get in and whether they will get in
