He's their punt returner because he has an awesome first step and changes direction very well. What does that have to do with his deep ball abilities? Those same skills are the reason he's a good short yardage receiver...

Nfl players vote to determine top 100 players in the nfl. Pretty solid list considering they are peers and actually play against each other and whatnot. Guess who is absent from that list? Guess who is not?
