What makes you feel that LSU will not pay that amount of money. In order to pull Herman or Jimbo away from where they are, you better offer at least 6 mill a year. If not you are going to find it hard to find a top notch coach. USC has never paid there coaches a lot of money.

Anything can happen but if Herman makes 3.1 unless UH gives him a 3 million dollar raise LSU is not going to offer 6 million. Jimbo is making 5. He would take 5 million the same as he makes at FSU so that he can get his assistants more money which LSU does do pay assistants FSU not so much.
