Absolutely not correct, Alleva had the greenlight and the money and didnt need to gauge anything. The truth about how far the program had gotten off the road is coming.

How is it not true that someone in the AD's office leaked it? It was in the press. Somebody talked to Rabalais at the Advocate. The decision to fire him could have only come out of Alleva's office and it was somehow being shot around the media that he was getting the axe. If it wasn't true, a worth-a-shite AD would have publicly told the media that it wasn't true. That didn't happen.

There is no other explanation for how it was public. If it came out of TAF then it should have been on Alleva to come out and deny it until it had legs. But it didn't and now how everyone doesn't realize how chickenshit he really is is beyond me.
