I have heard the Black Friday deals are usually made for just that sale and are most of the time less in quality. Is there truth to that?

I won't be able to wait until Black Friday. Wish I could but I need a replacement now.
I have a pretty decent budget around 2k. Trying to figure which TV will be the best picture quality within my budget. Looks like it's between Sony Samsung, and LG.
