It was also his first crack at being a head coach. He admitted today, he didn't let his coaches coach. He messed with areas he wasn't familiars with as opposed to letting those who know the positions/situations best handle it.

He impressed me by saying he was aware of what his mistakes were as a head coach. Simply put he basically recognized he didn't relinquish control to those that were more knowledgeable. A problem that has plagued lsu for quite some time. I think Coach O will give it a solid run.
