Needs to be the guy. Complete makeover of the offense is what we need. He'd utilize our 6'5 receivers and his scheme would work beautifully with our athletes.

Herman is the guy I want but some of you need to chill the frick out on the Herman Hype. A blank check? He's at Houston ok? The American conference. He's not playing monster teams week in week out.
Kevin Sumlin went 12-1 at Houston before A&M hired him. How's he doing in the SEC?
Like I said, I hope we hire Herman. But I'd rather not throw 6 million at a guy who hasn't even coached in a power 5 conference yet.

He'd leave Houston to come to lsu for the same amount he's making now... offer him 1 more million than he's making now and he is here without a doubt

Herman might still come, but if UH gets into the Big 12, he gets a $15M bonus. Guessing there would be strings

Ya'll know damn well LSU don't have a blank check to give hell the money people last year couldn't sit a blank check on the desk which is why they tripped over themselves backing out of the room the week of the A&M game. Now which one of you have the up to $25 to $35 million to buy out Les, his staff, Tom Herman contract, and pay him at least $4 million (because he is currently making $3 million and change)...This next couple of years just might be what you really wanted!
