The LSU season is, but this season is huge for LSU.

We need to root hard for Texas, ND, and USC. Any major program that would compete with us for a top tier coach like Herman, we need them to win. The less competition, the better. We want as little job openings as possible.

You're high if you think I'll ever cheer for Texas, ND, or fricking USC.

I cheer for LSU only.

Again, that's too simplistic. Sometimes you have to endure short term pain for long term gain. So you can root for those other teams for the short term, knowing it can help your team in the long term.

And there's not a thing wrong with that.

If someone would rather any of those schools over LSU then I don't want them anyway. I've had enough of a coach who had dreams of another school somewhere. LSU is a Top tier coaching job and can compete with other top tier schools. It doesn't matter to me whether those schools are searching at the same time. I want a coach that sees the value in LSU and who feels that LSU is his dream job.
