It even showed all of that on the "previously on tLMoE" intro to the episode.
At first I thought it was a dream, with Carol's baby bump and then Jasper talking like NBD. Then it never was shown as a dream. Then Melissa is all completely normal?
Don't get me wrong, I would much rather her be back to normal, because it took a LOT of fun/energy out of the show. But at least some sort of explanation would be nice. Or at least some acknowledgement of the show progressing forward so much. Are we supposed to just assume that Melissa and Jasper laughing together in the cop car made her magically turn normal again?

I've spent the last couple of weeks catching up on this entire season. Last night's episode was the first one I've watched live. I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how I missed several episodes. The 'Previously on' clips finally convinced me it was a time jump.
Tandy and Carol become very annoying when binging the show. His obsessive interaction with the boy was excruciating.
The show really suffered without the Asian guy. He was able to keep Tandy in check and provide deadpan humor with his normalcy.
The quirky nature of this show is probably better viewed in doses instead of binging, but Melissa going crazy, Todd going crazy obsessing over her, Mrs. Ted Danson in the elevator, and Asian plane crash killed the group dynamic and allowed for Tandy and Carol to take over the show in a bad way.
