re: Is it possible to make jambalaya in a crockpot?

I like a rice cooker jambalaya. It ain't a real jambalaya, but it's an easy meal to make on a Wednesday night when my wife works late and I need to mow the lawn. Just toss some rice, raw sausage, canned beans, garlic, onions, butter and stock in a rice cooker and let it run for an hour. Plus, it makes a shite ton, so I have lunch for a couple of days.
