I was surprised by the heavy cream for coffee. Could it be sweetened with stevia? What is MCT and why is it mixed with butter for coffee?

Medium Chain Triglycerides: they are a large part of what coconut oil consists of. Very good for you. Butter has no lactose so another good source of fat. Kerrygold grassfed at Costco is great.

When you switch to low carb, you have to up your fat intake. This "bulletproof" coffee is an easy and tasty way to do it. Read up on good fat balances--it is easy to get too much polyunsaturated fat and you don't want to just eat bacon all the time.

Stevia is ok. Low insulin response. I don't like it though.

Reddit keto board is a good resource for all this. So is put down the fork in the food board.
