not at all made up, IMO. it sounds like bullshite from the outside, but the results speak for themselves.

i think with saban, it's about the attention to detail, leaving no stones unturned. and if you spot any, how do you address it? how does one address roster turnover and recruiting needs? they do it better than anyone else.

sure, every coach in the profession has a process, some are stronger than others, and a few select ones are ironclad. saban's just happens to be the best one.
