An examination of the data indicates that black people are shot and killed disproportionately by both police and civilians as compared to all other races.

BECAUSE THEY COMMIT DISPROPORTIONATELY MORE VIOLENT CRIME.
Why is that so hard to understand that those two things are directly related?

i was actually kind of excited to hear about this on my way in to work this morning. Knew it would make for a good long boring day filling thread on the good ole OT.

Blacks were and have been treated poorly before they were committing crimes. So which one is it? Its as if you're absolving white discrimination and racial bias from all these incidents.

You can't do this, especially since it's tainted our views of blacks since the inception of this countries beginning.

You want to do away with the race issue without properly addressing it. In that case it will always rear it's ugly head

Fail. Most crimes are committed by people against their own race. 82% of crimes committed by white people are against white people. 90% of crimes committed by blacks are against other black people.Contrary to what Fox News tells you the vast majority of terrorist attacks, mass shootins, child/elderly killers and rapists are white men. Those are facts.
