It's still possible that one looked significantly better in practice.. so there may have been no way for them to know until the need to thrust him into a live game.

They've had this issue before.

They use to say Jennings looked great in practice.. but it didn't translate onto the field.. who knows the reasons.. maybe they call the right plays for them..

We've heard where LSU practices certain formations but never even use them in game situations..
