Everyone said he deserved a chance last year at the end of the season to right the ship. You saw how Lambeau turned out. If he is to stubborn to learn a lesson to change his ways after 1-9-12 then he loses all respect and any chance to right the ship in the future. He has had5 years to fix it and has to wait until he's almost fired to do so. Why do you feel sympathy for someone like that? The fans didn't make him 1 dimensional, his poor QB recruiting and philosophy did. The fans didn't deplete the front 7, his inability to hold Chavis and Hailey accountable on the recruiting trail did.

Miles has no vision to build a program. He holds on to bad choices until the heat is turned up so high that he is forced to make a change. All of those bad decisions have kept us from competing in the west for 5 years now. Why does he deserve any sympathy, respect or 10th chances?

I love Miles. Wish he could stay forever, but looks like the time has come. Even the recruits who like Miles would understand.

OP is right about one thing, we need to support this coach at least until end of the season.

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me twice, shame on me.

Fool me a third time, kill me with fire.

" if he is too stubborn......"

The most overused and wrong description of miles that is continually spewed on this forum.

LSU it's on like it's fourth offense of coordinator in the last five years. We are on our third DC in the last three years. We are on our third starting quarterback in the last 2 yrs and three years games when all three still have college eligibility. We just threw the ball 32 times when we had the lead from the get go. None of that fits any type of stubborn that I'm aware of.

Stubborn would be an unwillingness to change out assistant coaches or change out starting quarterbacks. We threw the ball last week 32 times even with a 1st quarter, whole game lead. Stubborn would be throwning the ball 6-10 times after we had acquired a 7?point lead.

We have the second most wins in the sec in the last 5 years. We are not bama. Our administration does not go all in on football.some of you need to deal with this.

I hope you aren't a math major. 5 years without competing for a west Title. 5 years ago LSU won the West. 4 years ago LSU was literally a few seconds away against bama from probabably winning a nc in 2012. 2013 and 2014 were tough....we went 18-8. Last year they were 7-0 and 4-0 sec, I'd call that competing. This year LSU is currently undefeated in the sec. At most, LSU went three years without competing, but realistically it was 2 years.
