In defense of Soccer I doubt whether they would ever sell out to get 10-9 games( instead of intense 3-2 or 2-1 match.

Defenses were once revered/ feared in the NFL:

Purple People Eaters, Dallas Doomsday Defense, Steel Curtain, Orange Crush, Fearsome Foursome, Grits Blitz( Falcons ), No Name D / Killer B's( Dolphins),Dome Patrol, Raiders needed no nickname & were called many unflattering things.....

Now it's 40 passes per game & receivers & DBs playing pitty pat.

Soccer would never sell out like that for the sake of scoring.


Physicality is why we loved Football.
