I dunno. This issue fell off the radar until the NBA, NCAA, and ACC poked the bear and put it back in the news.
One of the biggest things wrong with this type of grandstanding is that every non-boycott is also a political statement. If you boycott NC because of HB2 you must, by extension, fully endorse the laws of every state where you hold an event. Otherwise you'd boycott them too.

Yep, that's what's amazing. They're creating the illusion of market demand, not responding to it.
