The idea that Etling was more accurate than Harris in the game is a myth.

You could be right, but my perception is different. I just saw so much more touch, which is a subset of accuracy to me.

Harris had issues with touch passes last year, but so far in 2016, particularly against Wisconsin, he was fine. Drag plays across the middle, a screen, the bubble pass for the TD, the dump off to Fournette while being pressured, etc. were all well executed with appropriate touch.

The part Harris has continued to struggle with is his 5-10 yard quick hitches. I'm not sure if he rushes those throws or what, but he had 3 high passes to Dupre against Wisconsin on essentially the same route.

I've got no problem if people can't get the perception against JSU or the end of the 2015 campaign out of their head, but the facts of the matter are that the actual passes have been just as good as what we've seen from Etling. The difference is that Etling just seems more composed and makes it look better, but the actual execution - the ball being on time, in the right spot, to the right receiver, etc. - has been just as good/bad with Harris this year as it has been with Etling.

I hope Etling can provide some clear separation on Saturday.
