Etling and Harris played against the same defense last week. Etling was better. He may not be good, but hes damn sure better than the other guy. Thats all that counts when making the decision.

C'mon Roger, Hail Marys are frickin catchable.
There's more to passing than throwing it in the general direction of a WR.

ETA: Kinda telling the depravity round here when the only bad passes are 5yds off target.

One game at a time. Receivers were wide open. He made D. Will look like an all-SEC back with the draws and passes. And I saw misdirection attempts in the game. Crazy as it sounds, we never could see any of that with Harris because of the inconsistencies he presented as a passer and the lack of first downs generated.

With all that said Etling showed an understanding of the position that has not been seen in some time regardless of any flaws that were observed. Confidence and heart along with some improvement are what I'm looking for now because he is pretty much what he will be except a bit sharper in execution throughout the season.
