If etling performs well and Lsu wins big does it light a fire that this team needs badly? Msu has a good defense and a very dangerous running qb. We need to dominate all phases of the Game. We need etling to put any qb controversy to rest and really change how Oppsoing DC's have to prepare for lsu. Bama ole miss arky and a&m are pretty good so this game will tell us a lot. Are we gonna at least contend or are we a bottom dweller? If we shite the bed at home Saturday I'm afraid how this team finishes.

Nope. Remember after all, it's a team that lost to south Alabama.

We're gonna beat the shite out of MSST. As we should. That game will mean nothing on the season.

Etling will rip them apart. Their secondary is terrible

No it won't. Stop getting your hopes up for a guy who couldn't cut it in the Big 10. He didn't even play in the tough division

A win vs MSU would get us on the right track, but the Auburn game will show where the season is headed.

LSU doesn't HAVE to win @ Auburn, but the fan base will view that game as a must-win.

LSU has to win EITHER at Auburn or at Florida. Both would be awesome, though.

To answer your question, though, an LSU win in Auburn would spark a turnaround, IMO.

Any win is a good win. Beating MSU will provide a huge boost in confidence moving forward

I won't be excited until we beat Bama and take control of the SEC West...as usual. Needless to say, I haven't been too excited since 2011.

A big win just means LSU covered like they were suppose to.

This is the right answer

He was a freshman with the worst Oline in football. His numbers as a freshman were typical for a young talented 4* kid. At times he looked good others he looked bad. Then he got hurt.. He's had time to grow up and develop. I think he's gonna be a solid qb. Time will tell. You say that but prolly hadn't even watched any film of him. A lot of recruiting gurus were high on him and he was an elite 11 kid I believe.

I really don't understand the negative talk behind etling, "guy who couldn't cut it in big 10"

Did you watch the game Saturday? He completely changed the face of our offense. He looked like exactly what we need. If he turns out to be that, we will see.

But this kind of talk makes you sound like a pissed off entitled teenager. Our #2 ranked dual threat recruit of a qb doesn't look like he could cut it at an fcs school. Etling is a good thing.
