You may be right, it may be the best thing for him, but I don't think a lot of people realize what can happen to a kid like that.

He was probably admired most of his life for his football talent, and may have lost his identity in that. If someone asked him who he was, he might answer "Brandon Harris, starting QB for LSU" and actually invest all of his self worth in that identity.

Then maybe through no fault but his own, he becomes disillusioned when he loses that position.

It can be devastating, to a point that he no longer feels like he's worth anything anymore.

Not saying that happened, or will happen to him, but it could easily, give him a break, thanks.

I hope Harris realizes he can actually learn by watching from the sidelines instead of pouting on the bench. His career isn't over unless he chooses to do the latter.
