Bingo what? Why don't you people say what you really want to say?
That shows what kind of fans you are. You don't care about wins or losses. You people are just worried about throwing out the race & oppressed card every chance you people get.
So what if the white quarterback is better and processes things better than the black quarterback. This is about wins and losses. NOT about a white quarterback being better, even though he is at this point. You people need to take your vile elsewhere.

It has reached the point now that you cannot want to bench a black qb for a white qb because it is in the best interest for your program without being a racist. People who think that way are the racists. What a fricking joke. It makes me sick. I have supported whoever the lsu qb has been since I became an lsu fan as a kid, and i have not once thought of skin color. I want them to play whoever gives us the best chance at winning. Period. I can't believe this is actually being brought up right now...idiots.

The INT was not a bad decision. It was underthrown, yes, but the DB played it perfectly and Dupre is soft.
That play was doomed from the get go. Etling held the ball too long and Dupre had the man beat but ran out of EZ real estate and the DB caught up to the play when the ball was underthrown. Still the Int was no worse than a punt with a touchback...

Victim mentality... Any praise a white man gets is because he white right?
We hated Lee and loved JJ after the 08 peach bowl.
LSU Racist against whites?
This board tore Quinn to peices for potentially costing us Bama 2014. We loved Malachi for the plays he was making last year.
LSU Racist against whites?
We loved Jennings going into 2014 after he came in and won the Arkansas game and led us to a bowl win at the end of 2013.
when Jennings struggled in 14 we were crying for Harris, and loved him after that MSU game. That situation is not any different from this years...
If Harris was white you would just say "we all know our fans love Harris so much."
Well he wasn't, and we did love him. We want to be a good football team, we want the best players to play. If they happen to be white, racists like you will claim that's the only reason people love them because you are pulling for the back player.
It's about wins and losses. That is it
You are an absolute idiot if you don't think this board would be all over Harris' nuts if he was having a great season.
Have a terrible day sir.

Oh yeah, you are right. Amazing array of passing attempts that allow the QB to be proficient and comfortable with using that as a means to moving the ball down field. You are a fricking retard!
I'm not the one denying reality. We had plenty of short throws to give the qb confidence.

Well, you are trying to bend reality to your warped logic. Just because a back was targeted 5 times in 20 total attempts does not equate to stepping up the complexity of the passing game to allow the QB to build confidence.
I am so sorry this is so hard for you to grasp. I can type slower if you need me to.

His awareness, so far, is light years ahead of Harris as is his accuracy and comfort level. I hope it holds up and our play calling doesn't go completely back to middle school level

Under 50% passing I would hardly give him props for. He made a few throws but he has to get more consistent and the WR's too.

First game appearance with receivers not helping him out much. Woke up a dead ads team to boot. Props in order for this one at least

This.
When Etling came in the difference was immediate and very noticeable. He had poise in the backfield, side-stepped the rush very well, read the field, went through his progressions, made his decisions and threw.
All of the things that Harris has struggled with. It was the difference between night and day, for lack of a better term.
Everyone knows that BH has struggled with maintaining proper form as he readies to throw, has trouble reading the defense, is slow going through his progressions and has not developed any sort of "touch" when throwing.
He can't seem to hit the short and intermediate throws needed, all he can do is sling the long ball.
What surprised me most was that, for a tall man, Etling has decent (not great) speed. He certainly doesn't have Mettenberger's issues with running.
I was always a supporter of Harris, but I think he's had enough of a chance to prove himself, and just hasn't done it. Time for a change.
But like many here, I don't think the job is automatically going to be Etling's. I think we are in for a repeat of the JJ/JL issue.
I sure hope not, but knowing Miles, I think it's highly likely.

It seemed that way to me too. The offense actually had a rhythm to it for a few possessions.

And the energy in the stadium changed drastically as well.

LMFAO he was 0/6 in the 2nd half.
If Harris had those numbers you would be slamming Harris.

You have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Just stop before you're not even further behind.

it honestly felt like i was watching some of bamas past QBs. not all world but able to get first downs and extend drives. we dont need him to be an all american (which is what some people on this board want) we just need him to be able to extend drives and manage the game.
Posted on 9/11/16 at 7:14 pm to boweswi05
Dropped balls, soft recievers on 50/50 throws while being flushed from the pocket are not the QB's fault. The 2nd half numbers are misleading. Playcalling became predictable too.
Posted on 9/11/16 at 7:17 pm to 175RgrTiger
He kept the defense of the field so much, moved the ball, made the other defense at least think we might throw the ball, made them not stack 9 in the box, and most of all it looked like he breathed life back into a team and stadium full of fans that really want to believe they can win.

Bich please. Go play and let the adults talk. We actually watched the game.
