Investigating and charging him in a 12 year old case? Kinda fishy.
This sounds like he probably banged a teenager who was under the AoC. TN is 18 I believe while all of its neighbors are 16. If he banged a 16 or 17 year old I have no problem with that and calling it "child rape" is ridiculous.
If he banged an actual child on the other hand then lock him up.

WTF? So if you have a 16 year old daughter and some married man is banging her you are good with that? Did you think that through? Sophomore in high school. Ummmm. NO.
