Jr LB West Monroe High School
23 tackles tonight vs John Curtis
(Don't let him get away)
The very next week he had 24 tackles vs Madison Central (MS)

He is way undersized at 6' 200 lbs and not fast enough to play at LSU.

He definitely needs a look by the staff.

27-13 Curtis. Freshmen QB will be special for Curtis

6' 200 as a JR can easily turn into 6'2 220-230 end of senior year.

I linked the game live last night and from what I saw WM's dline is nothing special. The oline has a ways to go as well. Curtis' lines were massive and they had good athletes...they had a 18 play drive and that never happened to WM in the past. West Monroe simply is not what they were under Don Shows.

Is WM down this year
2 OL out and it hurt badly. 1 is done for the year, knee, other should be back in the next game or two. Talent wise, WM is stacked.

TCU Commit Dennis Collins dominated

18 play drive
With 50 yards in penalties, WM has to be more disciplined.

I saw on FB this morning, he's in Tuscaloosa on a visit. Saban must not be worryied about being slow & undersized.

How many 6 ft. 200 lb linebackers are playing in the SEC?
Posted on 9/10/16 at 2:33 pm to OU812
I don't know much about SEC linebackers. I do know he has an offer from Clemson already. And I know he has another year in HS.

He is a player for sure and has a great nose for the ball. Led the team in tackles last year as a sophomore. The coaches need to look at him for sure.
What size will he be next year is the question?

Yes he did, great player. The lack of depth is the problem with the d line. They did well against Neville in the Jamboree running the 3 man front. If WM can get the offense producing they will have a good year.

Kid has great football instinct. Manages to consistently find the ball. 23 tackles in that game is hard to overlook. Kid's a JR., a lot can happen.
