Ah. I guess I see that as more of a consequence of him not knowing any better rather than an outright lie.

Are you hoping LSU loses to Auburn if it means Miles is gone? Am I understanding this correctly?

The simple fact you posted that walrus head on this board deserves a down vote.

It's a shame that Les didn't can Cam after last season. Could have brought in a young gun that knows modern offenses and saved his arse. Damn stubbornness will be his demise.

Les would have to also give control of the offense to a new OC, which he won't, so it's kind of moot. Les just wants a "yes man" at OC that will run his 1970s offense. Probably why he hired his buddy Cam as coach

I'm hoping if LSU loses to Auburn he's gone. I'm also hoping we beat Auburn but he's still gone.

Are you going to be arguing for him to stay if he wins?
That works both ways.

No, he's clearly saying he hopes Miles is on that type of hot seat and he would be released with another loss soon.

not at all. But if we do lose, and we have a decent chance too, I hope it's true. I more so said that because if true it shows we are serious about not putting up with this garbage anymore

It would be stupid to fire Miles before we are out of contention in the West.

If we lose to Auburn, we aren't out of contention. If we lose to Auburn and Florida, he's as good as gone.

Win the west, then what? Keep Les?

Especially if it's the same shite offense? How long are we gonna leave the guy hanging? If his stubbornness doesn't bite us in the arse this year, it will next year after the upperclassmen studs are gone. May even be a losing season.

I mean, what do you want... win the West or the SEC and then to still fire him?

We're gonna be an 8-4 or 7-5 team next season no matter who the coach is. Unless it's Tom Herman, probably.

But no, I don't think we'd fire Les if he won the SEC and made the playoff. It would be great if he retired and went out on top.

Gotcha. I'd like to think this is the majority opinion around here, but shite has gotten crazy since Saturday and there are quite a few that seem to be willing to mail in the season if it guarantees Miles is gone.

We play Miss St before Aub.
So, why not just sat he's out with a loss to J State, Miss St, OR Aub ?
